Government Tenders
Demand for new tram platforms is robust at present, due to the ‘Think Tram’ project, an initiative of the Victorian State Government and the need for tram platforms to comply with the Federal Government’s Disability Discrimination Act 1992.
The introduction of new low floor trams, extended tram routes and tram stop upgrades has resulted in ongoing demand for new tram platforms to be constructed. Civilscape are at forefront of such a infrastructure improvement, and have successfully delivered tram platforms in and around the CBD.
Electrical Civil Works
Electrical civil works has been a major part in Civilscape’s history, Experienced in open cut excavation, installation of LV and HV electrical conduits, and excavation near and around existing network pipes and services. Civilscape has successfully trenched and excavated across every major intersection in Melbourne's CBD.
Civilscape provides for the setup and installation of HV substations for airports and other facilities. An understanding of earthing requirements and all related complexities, is combined into an overall electrical delivery package meeting client’s needs.
Road Treatments
Kerb and channel, F-Type Barriers, Crash intinuators, Omni Bollards, just a few examples of the broad range of Civilscape’s skill set. From excavation of roads, to the installation and commissioning of new signalized intersections, working in the public arena is common place. Working closely with road authorities, an understanding of traffic management and related requirements is a must to ensure both contractor, and public safety. Galvanised and stainless steel fencing meeting DDA standards are utilised on many of Civilscape’s sites.
Commercial Paving
Civilscape have a proven history in pavement works in both the domestic and commercial sector. Bricks, stone, pavers, and wood, delivery of a quality project is always assured. Installation of concrete footpaths for councils, to the set-up and installation of complex installations is all in a days work for Civilscape. Bluestone kerb, DDA compliant Tac Pave, Ceramic tac tiles and Stainless steel tac tile buttons are incorporated in many Civilscape worksites. Asphalt roads, footpaths, and car parks, no type of pavement is too difficult for our skilled staff and sub contractors.
